Who you are buying from

What we sell

• Guides: the Impact-to-Income Engine Guide and the Skill-to-Income Engine Guide, as downloadable PDFs.
• App subscriptions: the paid stages of the IIE and SIE apps, monthly, quarterly or annually.
• Cohorts: places on facilitated group programs with a set start date.
• Services: facilitation and advisory, agreed in a written proposal.

The Guides and the apps are separate products. A Guide does not include an app subscription, and a subscription does not include a Guide.

Prices and currency

Prices are shown in Kenyan shillings and US dollars. M-Pesa payments and Kenyan cards are charged in KES; cards issued outside Kenya are charged in USD. Your receipt shows the amount and currency charged. Your bank may add its own fees for payments in another currency.

Payment

Payments are processed by Pesapal. We never see or store your full card details or M-Pesa PIN. An order is confirmed when we receive confirmation of payment from Pesapal, not when you leave the payment page.

Guides

Delivery. A download link on the confirmation page, by email, and in your account if you have one. Links last 24 hours; you can get a new one at any time from My purchases or Find my order.

License. Each copy carries the buyer's name, email and order number. You may use it within your own organization or for your own work. You may not resell, publish or share it beyond that.

Refunds. A digital file cannot be returned, so Guides are not refundable once downloaded, unless the file is faulty or not as described. If you have not downloaded it, you may ask for a refund within 7 days. Details are in the Refunds Policy.

App subscriptions

• By card: renews automatically at the end of each month, quarter or year until you cancel. We email you before every renewal: 3 days before a monthly renewal, 7 days before a quarterly or yearly one. Cancel any time from My purchases; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• By M-Pesa: paid in advance for a month, a quarter or a year, and does not renew by itself. We remind you 5 days and 1 day before it ends. After it ends you have 3 days' grace before the paid stages lock.
• We do not refund part of a period once it has started, except as the Refunds Policy sets out (your first payment, and a renewal you forgot to cancel).
• We give at least 30 days' notice of a price change, which applies from your next renewal.
• If a subscription ends, your saved work stays in your account and opens again when you renew.

Cohorts

A deposit (or the full fee) holds your place. The balance is due before the start date shown when you book.

• If we cancel or change the start date: full refund, or a place on the next cohort, your choice.
• If you cancel 14 days or more before the start: full refund.
• If you cancel less than 14 days before the start: what you paid moves to the next cohort as credit, rather than a cash refund.
• If you do not attend and have not canceled: the deposit is kept.

Refunds go back to the card or M-Pesa number that paid, as set out in the Refunds Policy.

Services

Scope, price, timing and payment terms are set in the written proposal we send after a first call. For that engagement, the proposal takes precedence over this page.

Receipts

We email a receipt for every payment.

Problems and complaints

Email info@monvalen.co.ke with your order number. We acknowledge every message within one working day and aim to resolve it within five working days. Please contact us before raising a dispute with your bank or M-Pesa; it is almost always faster.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
